Horizon Treadmills:
Health-Club Workouts at Home-Fitness Prices
Horizon treadmills represent the peak of mid-range, light, foldable treadmill technology. These sharp little fitness machines come in a range of styles, from the Horizon T51, at a price under $700, to the more elaborate Horizon T54, at $1,400. Sure, they're not the inexpensive treadmills you'll see on those chatty infomercials, but the reality is that decent fitness equipment doesn't come cheap - and you'd go through two or three of the shoddy versions before you'd ever wear out a Horizon.
Classy features
A Horizon treadmill comes with a bevy of features more typical of a health club treadmill than home fitness equipment. The motor is the most powerful available, and the deck itself is cushioned with state-of-the-art shock absorbers for a smooth, steady walk and quiet operation. Treadmills made by Horizon all come equipped with large, back-lit LCD readouts that keep track of your health data; and like all the best exercise equipment, each treadmill is built of heavy-gauge steel for a lifetime of use. When you're through using it, the treadmill folds up for easy storage.
A lovely warranty
Horizon offers one of the best warranties in the business on its treadmills. Many manufacturers of high-use fitness equipment offer a few years worth of warranty on the motor, but Horizon does much better than that: all Horizon models offer lifetime frame warranties, with a year on parts and labor, but the motor warranties vary from seven years on the basic T51 model to 15 years on the Horizon T54hr treadmill. That's right, fifteen years!
